does any one know who I can contact to prevent foreclosure that is a free service?
My husband and I are getting divorce and we will not be able to pay the mortgage I am moving out of the house and he is staying but can not afford it and I have to pay rent where I will be moving does anyone have any suggestions on what to do.

It sounds like you have to sell the house.
You will not get a modification if you are getting a divorce.
You can contact your lender, and make arrangements to pay them what you owe.

The most important thing I have learned is to contact and then keep in contact with your lender. Satisfy there wants as they may be willing to change and or rearrange your contract. I wish you well.
